A.A.A.P.S., Inc. came to us
with an idea for a website. They wanted something that could allow
users to log into their website. Once logged in, the user could
search for available jobs throughout the U.S. This required us to
set up a MySQL database with user information.
Our clients also wanted the database to be easily
manipulated from their office, without the necessity of contacting
Lighthouse Technologies every time there was an update.
For this, we wrote a custom web-based administration
script. They are able to change, delete, and add jobs and other
information on their own, without any knowledge of MySQL or PHP. |

ArnoldLink.com
is a completely redesigned website written by Lighthouse Technologies.
When we first took this project, ArnoldLink had a total of 67 pages on
their site. By the automation of PHP, we were able to consolidate
their information into only 17 pages! This is critical when the
client is paying for bandwidth. The less pages a user has to
download, the faster the website functions and the cheaper it is for our
customer. This site is completely coded in PHP.
There are several databases running on the site, and once again we created
an administration page for the customer to add/remove their
advertisements.
Custom graphics are also employed in subtle use on this
site. This keeps the load time quick and still stimulates the end
user's eyes. |
